At The Community Catalyst, we love when people give—but we also know that not all support comes with a dollar sign. Some of the most powerful impact comes from time, talent, voice, and heart. Whether you’re a student, a professional, or a community member with a passion for change, there’s a place for you in this movement.
Here are 10 meaningful ways to support our work—no checkbook required:
1. Share our message
Follow us on social media and help spread the word. A quick share or repost can introduce us to new communities and opportunities.
2. Volunteer your time
From packing boxes for food distributions to helping at workshops, your time is valuable—and we’re always grateful for extra hands.
3. Offer your skills
Are you a photographer, graphic designer, writer, or event planner? Donate your expertise to amplify our programs.
4. Start a supply drive
Organize a collection at your workplace, church, or school for hygiene products, canned goods, winter gear, or school supplies.
5. Join a workshop or event
Show up, learn, and engage. Your presence brings energy, visibility, and inspiration to the room.
6. Mentor someone
Become a guide for a young person navigating career paths, creative passions, or personal growth. Our programs need community wisdom.
7. Use your platform
If you have a blog, podcast, or newsletter—highlight our work or invite us to speak. Awareness is powerful.
8. Host a fundraiser or community event
From brunches to backyard concerts, grassroots fundraising events bring people together and support big causes in small, meaningful ways.
9. Advocate for change
Speak up for local policies that address food insecurity, education equity, and community investment. Change starts with a voice.
10. Become a connector
Introduce us to someone who shares our mission—another nonprofit, a potential sponsor, a local leader, or a changemaker ready to collaborate.
